Get a short introduction to Strasbourg on Place d'Austerlitz, and then bike through the the old town and Petite France district, then through the imperial district of Neustadt, finally to the European institutions.
Cross Pont du Corbeau and Place Gutenberg to arrive in front of the stunning Cathédral Notre Dame de Strasbourg.Admire the opera house on Place Broglie and cycle through the smallest streets around the cathedral to discover hidden secrets close to Place Saint Etienne. Discover the site of the European Parliament, Council of Europe and European Court for Human Rights, and get a breath of fresh air in Parc de l'Orangerie.
Cycle to the French-German border to see the Jardin des Deux Rives and its lovely cross-border gardens along the River Rhine. Cross the river on Pont de l'Europe and explore the typical architecture of Kehl (so german!). Stop for refreshments in a german local bar or beer garden, and then return towards Place d'Austerlitz in Strasbourg.
